A highlight in the fly fishing season is certainly the mayfly (Ephemeridae) time. As a rule, every third year is somewhat weaker. This year, 2017, was again a rather weak year. But the signs for a good 2018 season are all positive.
Un point saillant dans la saison de pêche à la mouche est certainement le temps de la mosquée (Ephemeridae). En règle générale, chaque troisième année est un peu plus faible. Cette année, 2017, a été une année assez faible. Mais les signes d'une bonne saison 2018 sont tous positifs.

I would like to say thank you  to the city of Velden for the good cooperation in more than 30 years, in which I was able to use the Pegnitz for teaching fly fishing.
