My Storry
The Wolfgang Fabisch fly fishing school offers fly fishing courses on various waters in Europe. The opening of the fly fishing school 40 years ago quickly made it necessary to sell, as the participants kept asking for sources of supply for the products they needed. Since I also took over the courses for the RST company shortly after the opening, a collaboration on fly rods and reels was an obvious choice. Later I also had Sage in my range for a long time.
Soon I was producing my own fly tying tools, in stainless steel or gold-plated. All offered nymphs, for trout and grayling, or for steelhead, are tied exclusively by me! The Dyneema I sell is a custom-made product that I had an influence on production.
In February 1990 I set foot on Canadian soil for the first time with three friends. We flew from Frankfurt in Germany to the Vancouver International Airport. From there it was a short flight to Campbell River. From then on I have visited BC over 40 times! Between 2003 and 2010 I had a wholesale in BC, in Campbell River. In 2010 I had my second heart attack, so I closed down the Company.
