Another picture from the plane, the city of Lytton. If you drive north on Highway Number 1, you have to pass this city! Here is the confluence of Fraser and Thompson River. The Fraser comes from the top, the Thompson from the right. Here in spring, both rivers are pretty muddy. Later in the year, the Thompson is unbelievably blue, but the Fraser is still dirty.
The Thompson river is a very famous Steelhead river, but with a late run. In october you always have a good chance for an unbelievable fighter on a dry fly.
