All good things must come to an end. This sale of Fabisch Flyline One is the end of an era. This fly line has been successful on the market for over 15 years. Only weights #7 and #8 are available any more.

This Flyline has a standard WF-Taper, but an experienced caster is able to hold over 20 m in the air. It shoots very well, and it has only very little memory down to - 10°C. Another advantage: this line comes in a fly box. Overall length 30 m, color buckskin.

 

Item # 500xx (for WF#7 = 70, for WF#8 =80)

 

Price now can$ 44,- instead of can$ 89,- until stock is lquidated.

Stainless steel fly tying tools, produced in Germany by W Fabisch

Friends who knew what I was about to develop did not exactly consider my idea brilliant. To make new fly tying tools from stainless steel, and - on top of that - made 100% in Germany made them think I was off my rocker.

Lots of obstacles had to be cleared, my new ideas had to be turned into real products, and materials had to be procured from several manufacturers: stainless steel for machining and also stainless steel spring wire.

 

Take the head of the hackle pliers: the design has been known as Dorin pliers, but it has so far only been available in nickel-plated versions. This part, however, is produced to my specification in the required size in stainless steel. Thus 6 out of 7 tools are made completely from stainless steel, even the spring ring connecting the hackle pliers to the handle. The only metal part not made from stainless steel is the bodkin tip, because the steel I use instead lasts longer in this type of application. 

 

Now we’re ready: all new tools are available and have been field tested by fly tiers. For further details see the fly tying tools page

Here’s some urgent info on Norvise pricing from January 1st, 1917:

Upon receipt of Norm Norlander’s new price list I must inform you that prices will go up up to 70 percent in 2017. Two examples: the traveling kit will go up from $135,- to $235,-, and the vise itself from $295,- to $395,-. These US-prices are, as always, without taxes and customs, so we’ll charge the same prices in € for our European customers. Should you have been contemplating getting a Norvise - now is the time to act.

All orders arriving until December 20th, 2016 will be executed at current prices!

The main reason to visit Terrace is the Copper River for fly fishing. Unfortunately, the Copper is often brown by the frequent rains, so the visits are rare.
