The Krimmler Ache in Austria

A nice area for fly fishing in the Alps. The Krimmler Ache ist ein schöner Fluss in einem Hochtal. The Krimmler Ache is a beautiful river in a high valley. However, the way there is quite exhausting. It is not possible to arrive by car, but by a cab.

Not a good place to capsize

Let's see how Corona continues this year. At this time last year everything was still normal. Whether the long-haul trips will work again in 2021, how the vaccinations will continue, etc. We don't have to do much more than to wait. Happy 2021 everyone!

The Wiesent near Pretzfeld with high water

In the lower part the Wiesent has a lot of space to spread out. The valley there is over 1.5 km wide! The flood can spread their without causing damage. In summer, canals provide irrigation for the meadows.

The Bulkley River in British Columbia

We were four people on the Canada vacation 2010. The Bulkley River was our main fly fishing destination for Steelhead. We met some fly fishermen from Germany on site. Despite great fluctuations in terms of success, this goal is still recommended.
